Sasha Banks’ 5 Best & 5 Worst Matches of 2020
Sasha Banks had an incredible 2020, in which she stood out in the women's division and established herself as one of the best wrestlers in the world. The Boss was WWE RAW Women's Champion, WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, and won the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion. It was an extraordinary year that anyone would like to have.

Over the last 12 months, Banks has participated in more than 35 matches, of which most were quite good, but there are certain matches that stand out because they were really excellent. On the other hand, Sasha also had some disappointing bouts.
10 Best: Vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (SmackDown)
During the 1085th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Sasha Banks and Bayley faced off against then-champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. The match was very good and intense. Bliss and Cross showed their usual synchronization to cause a lot of problems for Bayley and Banks, but the latter showed their enormous individual talent to turn things around.
The Bank Statement and Bayley-To-Belly were too much for Bliss and Cross, who were defeated and Bayley and Sasha Banks won the Women's Tag Team Title for the second time in their careers.
9 Worst: Vs. Tamina (SmackDown)
Tamina had a very weak performance on the night of April 17 when she faced Sasha Banks, who also did not contribute to making the match better.
The match lasted almost nine minutes and ended in victory for Tamina thanks to an intervention from Lacey Evans. In that way, the powerful Tamina earned a SmackDown Women's Championship opportunity against Bayley at Money In The Bank 2020.
8 Best: Vs. Asuka (The Horror Show At Extreme Rules)
This RAW Women's Title match was incredible. The Boss wanted to take Asuka's belt, but the Japanese superstar is very tough and made sure it was not an easy task.
Banks and Asuka threw in many strikes, kicks, and submissions that made the match amazing. And finally, the referee could not continue and Bayley took his place, attacking Asuka and giving the victory to Banks. However, after the crazy finish, WWE decided to declare the match a no contest.
7 Worst: Vs. Alexa Bliss (SmackDown)
During the 1084th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss faced each other. The match lasted just under seven minutes, and thank goodness it was fast because the truth is that it lacked.

Unfortunately, these two couldn't make this match a good one, as not even the interference of Bayley and Nikki Cross helped. Despite Sasha winning the match, it was one of her worst performances of the year.
6 Best: Vs. Bayley (Hell In A Cell)
Bayley betrayed and brutally attacked Sasha Banks, causing the separation of one of the best female tag teams in WWE history. However, Sasha recovered and took her revenge at Hell In A Cell.
This match was truly hell in a cell, as the two of them did a masterful job of showing their hatred for each other and they suffered a lot. In the end, Sasha defeated Bayley, ending the longest SmackDown Women's Title reign in history.
5 Worst: Vs. The IIconics (RAW)
Bayley and Sasha Banks and The Ilconics (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay) have been enemies since 2019, which has led them to meet several times in pretty good matches, except this one.
On this night, Sasha and Bayley easily defeated The Ilconics to retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Title in a match that seemed to not serve much of a purpose. It is a shame that the last match between these teams was so simple.
4 Best: Vs. The Kabuki Warriors (RAW)
This was Bayley and Sasha Banks' last successful title defense, and what a great win it was. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) wanted to take the WWE Women's Tag Team Title, but Banks and Bayley worked together perfectly to avoid it.
It was an excellent match, one of the best tag team bouts of the year, without a doubt. Sasha came close to losing after Kairi Sane made a perfect Diving Elbow Drop, but Bayley came to the rescue to secure the victory and retain the belts.
3 Worst: Vs. Naomi (SmackDown)
During the 1096th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Bayley and Sasha Banks had an argument and decided to carry out a Beat The Clock Challenge. The winner would be the one who defeated Naomi the fastest.
The Boss defeated Naomi in three minutes and 39 seconds, but it was not a show of power from Sasha and it was not a great match either. In the end, Bayley lost to Naomi, so Sasha won the challenge.
2 Best: Vs. Bayley (SmackDown)
After the epic and brutal match at Hell In A Cell mentioned above, Bayley and Sasha Banks clashed once again. This was an explosive and mind-blowing rematch and the perfect way to close one of the best storylines of the year.

Banks defeated Bayley to cement her superiority and finally turn the page on that betrayal. Bayley and Sasha did an excellent job as they always seem to do whenever they're matched up against each other.
1 Worst: Vs. Shayna Baszler (RAW)
During the 1419th episode of Monday Night RAW, Shayna Baszler faced Sasha Banks in something of a dream match. However, the match was declared a no-contest after The Empress of Tomorrow appeared and wanted her rematch with Banks.
It would have been better if Baszler and Banks had a real chance to put together an interesting match. Instead, it was an irrelevant moment for two of the best out there.
