Sasha Banks Gets Into Verbal Exchange With Booker T Over Bayley Comments

If you take a shot at her best friend, apparently, Sasha Banks is more than happy to return the favor.

After Booker T offered somewhat of a backhanded compliment to Bayley, her tag team partner and best friend Sasha Banks has fired back at the WWE Hall of Famer. Booker recently offered the following feedback for the duo below:

"Sasha is a major player. She is one talent on the roster that you can always be able to go to and then know that she’s always going to deliver, especially in a big match. Bayley is the quintessential worker. She can go out there and she may not be great at anything but she’s good at everything. So when I watch Bayley go out and perform now, taking on this new persona, which is something that I couldn’t wait [to see happen,] I think it’s good for her, as well as we’re in this era again, this pandemic era. Everything right now is kind of like on hold in like a holding pattern and for those two to be in a position, in a holding pattern is perfect.”

While it appears Booker T was actually praising the duo for their recent work and saying that he looks forward to watching each week what both have done and will do with their characters, citing the fact that Bayley has made for a strong heel character, Banks didn't seem to appreciate the part that said Bayley wasn't "great" at anything.

The Boss took to Twitter and told Booker that "We're better than Harlem Heat. Now can you dig that SUCKA."

Banks does have a bit of a point in that if you're going to praise someone, why include saying someone isn't great?

All In Good Fun

While the exchange shows the wrestlers don't have issues taking shots at one another, it should be assumed this is all in good fun and everyone is playing their part as a heel. Booker's comments that Bayley isn't great might be a bit of a shot but many will agree he's not incorrect in his assessment. When it comes to the greats in the women's division, Bayley isn't often mentioned.

Those spots tend to be reserved for stars like Charlotte, Asuka, and Sasha Banks herself.
