Sean Waltman (X-Pac) Shoots Down Any Rumors Of Him Being In The Royal Rumble
Among the many former WWE Superstars who were on the radar of fans hoping to see them possibly make a return at The Royal Rumble, X-Pac was up there. Sean Waltman is one of the few wrestlers from the Attitude Era that can still go in the ring and he was recently a part of the Raw 30 show that featured Degeneration X setting up a six-man tag match between Imperium vs. The Street Profits and Seth Rollins. Fans wondering if his being at Raw 30 might hint at a role in the Rumble. Apparently not. Sean Waltman (X-Pac) took to Twitter this week and shot down any suggestion he might be in the match. He wrote, "For the last 8 months, I've been enjoying life & eating whatever the f--- I want. In other words, there's no chance of me being in the Rumble. But I really appreciate those of you who have expressed their desire to see me appear."
His social media post was flooded with comments from fans who were just happy he was enjoying life, even if many also said he could probably eat whatever he wants and still look like he's in better shape than the average performer. He was kind enough to respond to many of the posts but consistently noted that he wasn't going to be in the match.
Still Lots Of Royal Rumble Spots Open
There have been many theories over the past two weeks about who might make a surprise return during the Rumble on Saturday. X-Pac was just one of many names who have either said they'd be interested or media outlets have hinted might be in consideration. There are nearly half of the Rumble spots in the men's match still unaccounted for, so there's a good chance fans will see familiar faces they haven't seen in a while.
