Solo Sikoa's Undefeated Streak Ends On Raw As Gunther's Marches On
The final Raw before WrestleMania is in the books and on the show, an impressive undefeated streak came to an end. Solo Sikoa lost to Cody Rhodes, not only marking the first time The Bloodline member has been pinned on the main roster, but its the first time he has suffered defeat in singles action since June 2022, long before he left NXT to come help Roman Reigns retain the title at Clash at the Castle.
Gunther's Still Going
Even though Sikoa has suffered his first WWE defeat outside of NXT, the general consensus among fans still appears to be that he will get a lot of attention after WrestleMania. Perhaps a little foreshadowing by WWE in that regard when you combine the disappointment he would have brought on The Bloodline in defeat this week and the footage of Reigns yelling at Sikoa after the show last week.

If Sikoa does go it alone after this weekend, his first port of call when it comes to a potential opponent may well be a man whose undefeated streak on the main roster remains intact. That man is Gunther. Similar to Sikoa, even though the Intercontinental Champion has been beaten in multi-person matches and even lost singles bouts by disqualification, Gunther is yet to be pinned or submitted on the main roster.
Almost A Whole Year Unbeaten
Not only is Gunther's run more impressive than Sikoa's because it's still going, but it also began a couple of months before The Bloodline member's last loss. Also suffering his last defeat in NXT, the last time Gunther lost a singles match clean was on April 5, 2022, when he attempted to beat Bron Breakker for the NXT Title. That means if he can retain the IC Title at WrestleMania this weekend, he may well go a full year without being pinned.
That alone may be why WWE has Gunther beat both Drew McIntyre and Sheamus at WrestleMania. Then again, since it's a triple-threat match, Gunther can technically lose the title and his streak of not being pinned or submitted will continue. He's got a long way to go to catch up with Reigns who hasn't been pinned since December 2019. Another streak in jeopardy at WrestleMania this weekend.
