The 10 Longest-Tenured WCW Wrestlers To Never Win A Title
WCW had some incredible talents throughout its tenure, with the likes of Goldberg, Ric Flair, and Sting all-dominating throughout their time with the company. They won countless titles during their careers, but not every single member of the WCW roster was as lucky when it came to capturing titles.

A lot of wrestlers had success in winning titles, whether they held them for a brief period or for a long time. However, there were certain wrestlers who never had the opportunity to be a champion in WCW, even those that were dedicated and stuck around with the company for a long time.
10 Debra (3 Years)
She might have been a Women's Champion with WWE during the Attitude Era, but in WCW, she wasn't used in that manner. Instead, Debra was mainly used as a valet by the company, seen as someone who could help on the outside rather than in.
She often accompanied Steve McMichael to the ring, who she was legitimately married to for a while. Being dubbed the Queen of WCW allowed Debra to be a memorable talent, even if she wasn't considered for title success.
9 Tex Slazenger (3 Years)
Tex Slazenger is better known to wrestling fans as Mideon, which is the gimmick he would go on to use in WWE. However, before he joined that company he was part of WCW, working as Tex Slazenger.
He was seen as an outlaw in WCW, working that gimmick throughout his time with the company. Primarily being part of the tag team division, Tex didn't get a run with the titles during his spell.
8 Jerry Lynn (3 Years)
Jerry Lynn is someone who got around during his career, working for every major company possible. That included a three-year stint with WCW where he worked as Mr. L.J under a mask.
He was part of the cruiserweight division for the company, which was arguably the best part of WCW. He had some fantastic matches during his time and he really did fit in well, but the chance to hold the title was never given to him.
7 El Gigante (4 Years)
From a nimble cruiserweight to a slow heavyweight, El Gigante was another wrestler who didn't get a title run during his career. It's not much of a surprise though as El Gigante simply wasn't good enough to warrant the opportunity.

Gigante worked for WWE as Giant Gonzalez, a gimmick that isn't fondly remembered. Meanwhile, in WCW, his luck was equally as poor, with El Gigante being seen as a threat, but never getting the push to back that up.
6 Vincent (5 Years)
Vincent is someone who struggled for title runs throughout his entire career, whether he was in WCW as part of the nWo, or working with Ted DiBiase as Virgil. He's a talent that is well remembered by fans, but not for epic title runs.
He's often seen as one of the weaker members of the nWo throughout its run, and it's not that surprising that he didn't come close to winning a title with the company.
5 Avalanche/The Shark (5 Years)
Despite being a top star during his WWE run where he got the chance to feud with Hulk Hogan, Avalanche wasn't given any titles during his spell in WCW. He worked as Avalanche again for the company, but then also appeared as The Shark.

With face paint and fins on his elbow pads, The Shark was always going to be a difficult gimmick for audiences to take seriously in terms of winning a title, despite his history in the business.
4 Johnny Swinger (6 Years)
Johnny Swinger spent six years with WCW across three different spells. The company clearly respected him and felt that he brought something to the table, hence why he was hired so often.
However, despite his six years of service, Swinger didn't get the chance to hold a title. He is someone that still works today as part of the IMPACT Wrestling roster, proving he has serious longevity, despite the lack of titles.
3 Dave Taylor (6 Years)
A British wrestling legend, Dave Taylor is one of the most underrated wrestlers of his generation. A great technical talent, Taylor was always great to have on the roster due to what he could bring in the ring.

However, he was never pushed to the level of championship glory. Taylor could have been a strong champion had he been given the chance, and he would also have worked well in the tag team division, but that never came to be.
2 The Boss (6 Years)
Better known to wrestling fans as the Big Boss Man, in WCW he went under the name of The Boss and wasn't quite as successful. He actually competed under a variety of gimmicks from The Guardian Angel to The Man, but none of them were able to take him to championship success.
He had a six-year spell with the company and feuded with the likes of Vader, Sting, and the nWo. But even gaining those high-profile situations, he wasn't given the push to championship success.
1 Pez Whatley (7 Years)
Out of everybody in WCW history, it was Pez Whatley who went the longest without winning a championship. Being an active competitor for seven years, Whatley was never able to get his hands on a title.
An experienced talent who had been successful everywhere he had been, Pez wasn't given the focused push to ever be considered a top talent in WCW, despite the ability that he had.
