It's hard to remember, because the MCU took up so much of the last 12 years of Robert Downey Jr's career, but he was making some really fun and unique movies in the pre-Iron Man 2000s. One of those is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which comes from Shane Black (again!) and finds RDJ as an accidental movie star. Downey is teamed up with Val Kilmer as a legendary detective, and the two get enveloped in a twisty, fun, murder mystery.
