Dominik Mysterio and Marie Juliette’s relationship started when they were both teenagers. It was 2011, and they met in their Spanish class and fell in love. Unlike many high school sweethearts, this one stood the test of time. They started when they were both kids, and now, over a decade later, they’re still going strong. Back in January 2023, the couple announced their engagement in a social media post.

A lot of wrestling relationships don’t work out, and one of the reasons for that is that it’s a pretty demanding business both physically and mentally, and to a large extent, even emotionally. Many wrestlers work all week, and traveling from one city to another takes a toll on one’s body and mind.

This was also the case with Dominik and Marie’s relationship, since he’s a wrestler and had to move to different places frequently, but even distance wasn’t enough to break their bond. Dominik talked about this during an interview with Bakers Bantering, saying:

“Man, it’s honestly pretty hard doing, I guess, what we would call long distance because I’m in so many places, and it’s... She was kinda prepared for it in a way because when I started training just to become a wrestler, I moved to Tampa for six months, and she was still in school, so she couldn’t come with me. And then I came home for about a month and a half and then moved to Canada for three months to go train there. And she was still in school, and we kinda honestly, we just kinda made it work somehow.
