The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2's finale ultimately doesn't deviate from the second book in Han's trilogy, It's Not Summer Without You. Belly makes the difficult decision to let go of Conrad. He gives Belly her infinity necklace back, and he keeps it together until he can deal with his emotions in private. The episode ends with the suggestion that Conrad could begin to move on from the love triangle. As for Jeremiah, he watches Belly play volleyball from the sidelines, and he looks happy.
