The Truth About Taylor Swift And Todrick Hall's Friendship

Todrick Hall is considered to be one of Taylor's Swift's best friends. The "RuPaul's Drag Race" choreographer first met the singer in 2015, according to Republic World. The singer was so impressed by a mashup Hall created with her songs that she invited him to hang out with her backstage at her tour for "1989." The rest is history.

Hall has even proven he deserves the BFF title by defending Swift a number of times. After Swift called out the Netflix series "Ginny & Georgia" in March for having a dated and "deeply sexist" joke about her relationship history, Hall responded on Twitter (which has since been deleted), demanding the streaming service to be held accountable, per Buzzfeed. 

Hall even helped inspire Swift to more vocally support the LGBTQ+ community, per Vogue's 2019 interview with the "Mirrorball" singer. According to Swift, she realized she needed to speak up after Hall asked her how she would react if her son was gay. "The fact that he had to ask me ... shocked me and made me realize that I had not made my position clear enough or loud enough," she explained. Since then, Swift has been a strong ally of the LGBTQ+ community, and even released a song called "You Need To Calm Down" in 2019, which became an anthem for LGBTQ+ pride. 

Through the ups and downs, it's clear that Swift and Hall are truly best friends.
