What's new in version 9.0.19.200 - Documentation for Control-M 9.0.19

The following sections describe the new features in Control-M 9.0.19 Fix Pack 2 (version 9.0.19.200):

Control-M/Agent

Platforms

  • Control-M/Agent now supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 8 (64 bit only).

Java (JDK) support

Control-M/Agent is now verified with Open JDK, Oracle Solaris, and Azul JDKs.  These can be used with Microsoft Windows and Linux supported distributions.

The following options are now available:

  • Use of OpenJDK:
    • Open JDK 8 is included by default with new installations of Control-M/Agent on both Windows and Linux distributions.
    • Open JDK 8 replaces previous version of Java during an upgrade of Control-M/Agent on both Windows and Linux distributions.
  • New JDK 8 version is available for AIX.
  • Use of a commercial JDK: BMC continues to verify major versions of Oracle and Azul JDKs, and enables the usage of these (JDK 8), for customers that have third-party commercial support agreements in place.
