What Roman Reigns Said To Keith Lee After They Clashed At Survivor Series

Keith Lee had an intense showdown with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series and The Big Dog was clearly impressed with The Limitless One.

Take a look up and down the Raw and SmackDown rosters and fans will see how pivotal the NXT brand has been to the development of WWE over the course of the past decade. There are far more Superstars on the main roster who have spent time in NXT than haven't. Plus, fans of the black and gold brand are always watching intently to see who might be next to make the step up.

Every now and again, there's an NXT star who fans can just tell will have already caught Vince McMahon's eye. Right now, that star is Keith Lee. Even though Lee is still a member of the NXT roster, he has already pinned Seth Rollins, gone to war with Roman Reigns, and even clashed with Brock Lesnar in the Royal Rumble match.

It has been quite an eventful few months for The Limitless One and this week on Backstage, we got to hear all about it from the man himself. Lee discussed how it felt to be the second-to-last man standing in the men's match at Survivor Series, and also what Reigns said to him after the match. The Big Dog showed his respect for the North American Champion, but fans obviously couldn't hear what he said to Lee.

"After that was over with, he told me, straight up, 'I want a one-on-one match with you'," Lee revealed on Backstage. We thought it might have been words to that effect, and we can't think of many fans who wouldn't want to see that match. Lee also described how it felt to be across the ring from Lesnar. Lee labeled it "intense" and called The Beast a "specimen", but admitted confrontations like that one excite him.

As for what the future holds for Lee, we don't mean to be corny, but it really is limitless. When Mr. McMahon is in your corner (and in this instance how could he not be?) there is no ceiling for a WWE Superstar. By the end of 2020, we might have been treated to a singles match between Lee and Reigns, and maybe even a showdown against Lesnar.
