What You Need To Know About Dennis Rodman's Kids

Born to Rodman and his first wife, model Annie Bakes, Alexis Rodman recently called her dad a "really beautiful person" in ESPN's Dennis Rodman: For Better or Worse. But, it wasn't always such a great relationship.

Alexis' mother revealed in a 1997 interview that the nine-year-old was struggling with her parents' divorce and her father's subsequent absence. Bakes shared, "Alexis also keeps saying to kids at school: `My daddy has girlfriends,' and, `My daddy doesn't come to see me.'" (via Chicago Tribune) The interview continued, "Last year, Alexis hit a girl when they were playing basketball and then she said: `Well, Daddy does it.'" 

In her father's absence, Alexis' anger grew, and she attended anger management sessions to help her move through her intense emotions. Rodman himself was abandoned by his father at a young age and says he never really knew how to be a dad. In an intensely emotional and candid 2019 interview with ESPN, Rodman explained that he "never had anyone who wanted to [be a dad] for me and I think sometimes, 'Why am I doing it for somebody else?'"

Today, Alexis is married and gave birth to a son, Vincent, in 2017 (via CelebrityMirror).
