WWE Airs Ad That Caused Samoa Joe Concussion, What That Means [Video]

The commercial where Joe suffered a second concussion has been released by WWE and it appears to include the spot where Joe hit his head.

In February, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet broke the news that Samoa Joe suffered a head injury while filming a commercial for WWE. It was rumored to be the second concussion in a short period of time and speculation from Dave Meltzer suggested there was concern about Joe's history with concussions and what that might mean for the WWE Superstar moving forward.

It was then reported that Joe was suspended for 30 days following a Wellness Policy violation and that absence created confusion as to how serious the injury was.

While Joe recuperates from his injury and his suspension now officially over, the commercial in question was aired on WWE's social media accounts on Monday and it might finally provide some answers.

You can see the video below:

Entitled, "Must Be Monday” it's a neat look at Superstars in "action" as they relive some iconic moments on Raw and then talk to the camera about how this kind of action only happens on Monday nights. The commercial features Ricochet, Becky Lynch, Andrade, Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.

Does It Tell Us Anything About Joe's Injuries?

Maybe we're reading too much into the commerical, but it seems odd that WWE would include footage of the injury in the ad if it was serious. If the rumored concussion was drastic enough to keep Joe out action for an unknown amount of time, especially if there were doubts he'd return, it seems logical that WWE would remove that part of the video.

But, like we said, maybe we're giving too much credit to WWE and it didn't cross their collective minds that including footage where an actor got badly hurt was kind of classless.
