WWE Fans Want Damien Sandow To Return As Elias On Raw Next Week

It might be silly, but one of the most entertaining parts of Raw since WrestleMania has been the Ezekiel angle. Ezekiel debuted shortly after the biggest show of the year and despite his resemblance to fellow WWE Superstar Elias, the Raw wrestler claims the two are not one and the same. Kevin Owens simply isn't having that which has resulted in him and Ezekiel butting heads on a weekly basis.

Elias's Raw Return

KO became so incensed with the whole situation on Monday night that he was counted out in his latest match against Ezekiel, handing the Elias lookalike the win. To celebrate his victory, Ezekiel addressed the fans and informed them he has been in touch with his brother Elias and that he will be on Raw next week. It was confirmed later in the show that Elias will be on Raw for the first time this year to perform a concert.

Now, how WWE handles this is going to be very interesting. That's because, and we really hate to break this to you, Elias and Ezekiel are the same person. Unless the two of them really are twins and WWE has managed to pull off the greatest ruse in wrestling history, which seems unlikely. As for how exactly WWE is going to work this, a number of fans are hoping Damien Sandow is brought back into the fold.

Mizdow, Mandow, Elias... Dow?

So many fans pointed out that Sandow would be the perfect man for the job, his name started trending during Raw on Monday night. There's no doubting Sandow and Elias look a lot like, but the main reason the former WWE Superstar is the perfect man for the job is his track record when it comes to imitating other WWE Superstars. Most notably The Miz when he worked as his protege, but also after that during his brief stint as Macho Mandow.

Sandow also appears to have a completely free schedule, at least when it comes to wrestling. He wrestled in what Sandow claims to have been his retirement match at NWA Alwayz Ready against Trevor Murdoch last week. It's entirely possible WWE is a step ahead of all of us on this one, and that Sandow will return to WWE not as Mizdow, Mandow, or even himself, but as Elias.
