WWE Hall Of Famer Set To Appear At Super ShowDown 2020

WWE likes to bring back legends for their events in Saudi Arabia, and it sounds like they have a marquee name on the books for Super ShowDown on Feb. 27.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Hulk Hogan is scheduled to be at Super ShowDown, which takes place at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Johnson noted that it's unclear what Hogan's role will be.

Hogan has made numerous appearances at major WWE events over the past year. He sat down in an interview with Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 35, and he appear on the July 22 Raw Reunion episode.

The Hulkster was also present at the previous Saudi Arabia event -- Crown Jewel on Oct. 31. There, five superstars competed on the side of Team Hogan, going up against five superstars who represented Ric Flair. Team Hogan emerged victorious in the 1o-man bout.

PWInsider also reported last weekend that WWE Hall of Famer Sting could play a big role at Super ShowDown. The report also suggested that The Vigilante could come back and perform "one more match."

As for other legends that could return? Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda reported two weeks ago that The Undertaker will be present at the upcoming show. Colohue's report also said that if Undertaker were to compete at the next show in Saudi Arabia, it'd be unlikely for him to also take part in a match at WrestleMania. It was recently reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, however, that there are talks about Undertaker's WrestleMania "participation."

So for now, it looks like Hogan will be at the next Super ShowDown event, and that we should keep an eye out for both Sting and The Undertaker. We'll find out soon enough if any other legends get added to the show.

What Other Legends Could Return?

Triple H competed in the first three Saudi Arabia events, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he laced up the boots again for Super ShowDown 2020. A recent report from Bodyslam.net stated that WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will compete, too. Hall of Famer Edge returned to the ring at the Royal Rumble, and WWE could use him in some capacity for Super ShowDown, too.
