10 AEW Wrestlers Who Should Work In ROH
The wrestling world was recently rocked, when AEW owner, Tony Khan, announced that he had purchased Ring Of Honor. Until the announcement, the future had looked uncertain for ROH, following a statement that they were taking a sabbatical and subsequently released all of their wrestlers from their contracts.

It's still not clear what Khan is going to do with ROH, but all indications are that the brand will operate independently of AEW. With an influx of talent over the last few months, the AEW roster has become rather bloated. Many see this as an opportunity for AEW to stock ROH with a roster of their current wrestlers who are in need of television time and direction.
10 Leyla Hirsch
Recent controversies aside, Leyla Hirsch is tailor made for ROH. With a mat-based style and a shoot background, Hirsch embodies the sort of fundamental values that are emphasized in ROH. Because she doesn't employ a particularly flashy style, it's a little more difficult for Leyla to stand out on primetime.
Honing her craft in Ring Of Honor would behoove Hirsch and allow her to grow as a performer as well. Though Leyla has been receiving more TV time on AEW, as of late, ROH would ultimately be a better fit for her.
9 Brock Anderson
Sending Brock Anderson to ROH would also likely mean that his father, Arn, would be heading to the brand as well. This is beneficial on multiple levels, as Brock needs the kind of on the job training that AEW cannot provide. Brock's style and personality would fit better in ROH, presuming that the brand retains at least most of its original identity.
As for Arn, he would provide the sort of backstage presence and guidance that would be perfect for the Ring Of Honor ethos. Brock Anderson is obviously the second coming of his father and ROH is the perfect setting for his development.
8 The Dark Order
Sending the entire Dark Order to ROH accomplishes several things. You would have two potential tag teams in Evil Uno and Stu Grayson and Silver and Reynolds. You also have a strong addition to the Women's Division in Anna Jay, as well as veteran ROH star, Colt Cabana.
Preston Vance would be well served by not being limited due to the crowded AEW roster. Whether they stay together or split, The Dark Order is a better fit for Ring Of Honor.
7 The Butcher And The Blade
The Butcher and The Blade are a prime example of a solid tag team that gets lost in the shuffle in AEW. The Ring Of Honor tag division is going to need established tag teams who are quality workers in order to maintain their reputation for consistency. The Butcher and The Blade fit the bill for a reliable tag team who could work with the likes of The Briscoes, assuming they resume their role in ROH.
Butcher and Blade have been floundering for some time in AEW, and The Butcher's injury only served to stall the team even more so. This team would bring a fresh presence to the Tony Khan owned version of ROH.
6 Brian Pillman Jr.
It's obvious that Brian Pillman Jr. has the wrestling business in his blood, but he hasn't had the opportunity to grasp the nuanced aspects of being a top-level performer. For some time now, Pillman Jr. has been in a tag team with Griff Garrison, and it seems the time has come for them to go their separate ways.

ROH would provide a fresh reset for Brian Pillman Jr., so he could find himself as a personality and as a worker. A singles run as either a heel or a babyface would serve him well. ROH would benefit from having a second-generation star of such distinction on their roster.
5 Serena Deeb
Serena Deeb is widely considered to be the most fundamentally sound female wrestler in the world, today. It's hard to think of a woman who is better suited for the essence of Ring Of Honor than Serena Deeb. The women's locker room in ROH could use the veteran presence of Deeb, as it's quite possible that it will be used as a developmental brand for AEW.
Serena is the type of locker room leader that can ensure that Ring Of Honor's Women's Division is a success. Serena Deeb has to be considered a first-round draft pick for the returning ROH.
4 Powerhouse Hobbs
With AEW recently signing the likes of Keith Lee, and already employing Wardlow, Lance Archer, and Miro, Hobbs doesn't quite stand out as a big man. It would be to Hobbs' benefit to spend some time in ROH, with the intention of eventually making his way back to AEW. Powerhouse Hobbs can be explosive, but he also has a certain methodology to his work that separates him from most other big men.
Separating Hobbs from Team Taz would force him to sink or swim on his own as well. Powerhouse Hobbs would have to be considered a potential ROH World Champion if he were to go to the brand.
3 Christian Cage
ROH is going to need recognizable names and a veteran presence in order to reestablish themselves. Christian is everything ROH needs in terms of established stars. Christian Cage would be an ideal fit for ROH, because of his versatility and ring generalship. As AEW has signed names like CM Punk and Bryan Danielson, Christian has been somewhat overshadowed by their star power.
In ROH, Christian Cage would be a big fish in a small pond, and it would be beneficial to all parties.
2 Jay Lethal
Since signing with AEW a few months ago, Jay Lethal has essentially become a part of the witness protection program. One of the greatest in-ring talents of all time, Jay Lethal has been criminally underutilized in AEW.

The only solution now that Tony Khan has purchased ROH is for Jay Lethal to return to the brand that he is most synonymous with. Jay Lethal may very well be the franchise of Ring Of Honor, and since leaving the company, something has just felt off. The time has come, and the stars have aligned for Jay Lethal to come home.
1 FTR
FTR just seems tailor made for ROH. Their no-nonsense, no-frills style is exactly what ROH was founded upon. With the recent revelation that The Briscoes may not be coming to AEW, the only way for FTR to work with them could be in ROH. While losing FTR would be a blow to AEW, ROH would gain even more.
Ring Of Honor is the promotion where FTR can prove, once and for all, that they are the best pure tag team in wrestling.
