Wrestling goes beyond the television for some fans. They aren't just satisfied with the rivalries and storylines on-screen and want to know about the behind-the-scenes stuff as well. There are times when the backstage drama in WWE has been more entertaining than their on-screen product.

Crazier things have happened backstage that nobody ever expected. When these stories get out, they often change fans' perception of a wrestler because, quite frankly, in real-life most wrestlers are completely different than how fans see them. Some of them have done disgusting things as well, often in the name of harmless ribs.
10 Vince McMahon Trying To Make Gerald Brisco Puke
Backstage ribs were pretty common in WWE, and some people were quite notorious for it. Vince McMahon has also been involved in some of these pranks, and one time, he even made a fool of himself.
The story goes that McMahon once tried to fart in Gerald Brisco's face (because he had a weak stomach), but he accidentally ended up soiling himself. This was during the Attitude Era, and Vince had to cut a promo that night.
9 Mr. Fuji Adds An Unknown Substance To Yokozuna's Hair
Mr. Fuji was known more for his manager work than his in-ring performances. He was also a notorious serial prankster in WWE. Although a lot of his ribs were downright immoral and disgusting.
This happened back when Fuji was Yokozuna's manager. He would braid Yokozuna's hair every night, but this particular time, he asked Sunny to help as he had to shoot a promo. Sunny agreed, but as she put her hands on Yokozuna's hair, people around her started laughing. She was confused at first until she caught a whiff, which according to her "reeked like sewage." Nobody knows what Fuji put in Yokozuna's hair, but it took her three days to get rid of the stink.
8 The Godwins Slop Sunny
In 1996, The Godwins and Sunny had an angle where they dumped a bucket of pig slop on her. Around this time, Sunny had some serious backstage heat in WWE due to her cheating on Chris Candido with some of the top stars in WWE.
Before the segment, The Godwins left the bucket half-filled in the locker room and not-so-subtly announced that they'd be slopping Sunny that night. When they returned, the bucket was filled to the top with people's spit and a few other ingredients.
7 JBL Hazes Newcomers In WWE
Multiple wrestlers have accused JBL of bullying them backstage. Despite his questionable behavior being public knowledge in WWE, the company kept him employed for so many years. In Edge's autobiography, he revealed that JBL would walk into showers and soap up the new guys as part of his "weeding out" ritual.

Some wrestlers no-sold this rib and played along,while those who complained were labeled "prima donnas."
6 The Undertaker Defecates On Jerry Lawler's Crown
In Bobby the Brain: Wrestling's Bad Boy Tells All, the legendary manager wrote that when Jerry Lawler first came to WWE, he received some payback from guys who used to work for him. The story goes that during the 1994 Royal Rumble match, a group of people defecate on Lawler's crown.
Heenan outed The Undertaker and Steve Kerin among the culprits. It seems like The Kliq was also involved in this incident,as this happened several times in Lawler's WWE career.
5 Randy Savage's Relationship With Stephanie McMahon
This is one of those rumors that'll never be confirmed or denied. Randy Savage and Stephanie McMahon's sexual relationship allegedly started in 1993, when Stephanie was only 16. After Savage left WWE, the company ignored him and Vince even told his staff to not mention his name.

Savage never returned to WWE in his lifetime, and his Hall of Fame induction happened posthumously. Nobody knows if this urban legend is true, but a lot of people seem to believe it.
4 Shawn Michaels Refuses To Lose To The British Bulldog
Most top wrestlers have been insecure about their position at some point. They'd flat out refuse to put over someone because they feared it'd harm their career. At WWE One Night Only, Shawn Michaels and The British Bulldog battled for the European Championship.
Bulldog was supposed to win this match, and he wanted to dedicate this victory to his terminally ill sister present in the crowd. When Michaels learned about this, he convinced McMahon to change the finish and go over.
3 X-Pac Leaves His Excrement In Sable's Luggage
X-Pac was once a member of The Kliq, and like the other members, his pranks were quite disgusting. Paul Bearer once told a story about Waltman pooping in Sable's luggage, on her last night with the company.
There was also a story that X-Pac once left his feces in Mark Henry's sandwich when he first came to WWE and Henry supposedly didn't notice that. X-Pac wasn't even in WWE when Henry joined. He also allegedly once left excrement in Sunny's food.
2 Mr. Perfect Feeds Laxatives To Yokozuna
Once, Mr. Perfect pulled a prank on Yokozuna. During a flight, Perfect offered chocolate to him but fed him laxatives along with it. Yokozuna had to go to the stewardess for emergency assistance but because he was so large, he couldn't fit in the plane's toilet.

He was taken to the back of the plane, where he pooped on the newspaper with the stewardesses covering the scene with a blanket. This seemed like a funny moment to Perfect, but it was really embarrassing for Yokozuna.
1 Bill DeMott Bullies His Trainees
When WWE's Performance Center was launched in 2013, Bill DeMott joined as the Head Coach. In 2015, he stepped down from this position after several wrestlers accused him of bullying, physical assault, and sexual harassment among other things.
WWE actually ran an investigation against Bill in 2013, but they didn't find any solid evidence. Fans were disgusted when despite several allegations against Bill, management tried to protect him. They didn't even fire him, allowing him to resign instead.
