10 Mistakes Triple H Has Already Made As WWE's Head Of Creative
Fans were very excited when Triple H was announced to be taking over WWE's creative department when Vince McMahon decided to retire due to the work he had done in NXT. So far, there's no doubt that the product has been better with a lot of clear improvements being made to what the company is doing.

However, while Triple H has made plenty of positive changes, not everything has been great. It is still early days as far as his time in charge and The Game is still finding his feet, but there have been some mistakes littered in that people have noticed.
10 Dragging Out Dexter Lumis & The Miz
Bringing Dexter Lumis back was a good idea as he's a unique wrestler that offers something different to the product, however, the storyline he has had with The Miz has not been too engaging. The main problem is that this one has gone on for too long, with a lot of over-the-top acting being part of it.
Dragging Johnny Gargano into the mix was also not the right call as he is someone that is better served allowing his wrestling to be the focal point. While there's been twists and turns in this one, a lot of it is just done for the sake of it when it comes to this angle.
9 Hit Row
Triple H has done a good job of bringing back a lot of former talents that many fans felt were wrongfully released under the previous regime. Many of them have worked out, but so far Hit Row have not been an example of that as they just haven't connected with fans.

The trio are missing something, and that piece seems to be AEW's Swerve Strickland. He was the original leader and the major star of the group, and that spark is needed right now. The group haven't been booked to be particularly dominant either, and that is a shame.
8 Handling Damage CTRL
When Triple H created a faction between Bayley, IYO SKY, and the returning Dakota Kai there was a lot of excitement from fans due to the talent of all three women. There have been some great moments with them, but there have also been notable problems such as Kai and SKY not winning the Women's Tag Team Championships immediately.
That swerve did not need to happen, and this has continued with the fact Bayley has lost all of her major singles matches so far. Her attempts to become Raw Women's Champion have all failed, which haven't made her look as credible as people had likely hoped.
7 D-Generation X Reunion
Bringing back older talents can often be a popular decision as nostalgia is something that normally connects with fans, and there was a lot of excitement about when D-Generation X reunited for an episode of Monday Night Raw. However, this situation wasn't booked well, and it was clear that they are running out of things to do.
The group were involved in a backstage segment at the start of the show with some comedy that didn't quite land, and then they turned up to close the show and did nothing. They cut some catchphrases and that was it, with this being a moment that simply didn't land.
6 Drew McIntyre's Feud Against Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross is an interesting character in the sense that he can capture the interest of people until the bell rings, and then fans seem to stop caring about him completely. That was on display during his rivalry against Drew McIntyre as it never seemed to connect properly.
Fans weren't interested in the matches that they had, and they ended up spending far too much time on this situation. McIntyre came out struggling and because Kross didn't win the feud, he wasn't able to look great either.
5 Too Many Distractions/DQs
When it comes to AEW, Tony Khan makes a clear effort to try and have clean finishes to as many matches as possible. It helps to develop talent and makes the win mean a lot more, but that hasn't been the case for WWE over many years, particularly under Vince McMahon.

Fans had hoped that would change under Triple H, but that hasn't been the case. There are tons of matches on Raw and SmackDown that end due to either a distraction or a disqualification, which is something that stops talent from building.
4 Moving Rey Mysterio
From the moment Dominik Mysterio turned on his father fans have wanted to see them fight each other, as that is the story WWE has told. However, for some reason, the company has pulled away from doing that by moving Rey Mysterio to a different brand which has stopped the angle completely.
That makes sense if they're going to stay apart, but that hasn't happened either. Dominik and Rhea Ripley attacked Rey at his home, continuing the angle which makes this confusing booking as fans don't know whether they're coming or going with this one.
3 Tyson Fury's Singing
Having Tyson Fury involved in some capacity at Clash At The Castle made sense due to how big of a name he is in the United Kingdom, and his involvement in the main event itself being restricted to denying a Money in the Bank cash-in was well-booked, as it allowed fans to see a great match.
However, the booking of him after the bout singing with Drew McIntyre wasn't the smartest. Had this happened just for the live crowd it could have worked to send them home happy, but instead, it was part of the show and it made McIntyre come off as if he didn't care about the loss.
2 Liv Morgan's Run As Champion
Fans were very excited about the prospect of Liv Morgan becoming the SmackDown Women's Champion as it brought a fresh face to the title scene and rewarded Morgan for all of her hard work. While her victory was a big moment, the run she had with the gold ended up being very underwhelming.

She wasn't able to get any clean victories over Ronda Rousey, which made her look weak and that led to the fans starting to turn on her. Morgan's time with the title was over a lot quicker than people had hoped, and it has led to her slipping back into the same role she had previously.
1 Ronda Rousey's Title Run
While Liv Morgan's run as SmackDown Women's Champion was disappointing, what Ronda Rousey has put together since then has been actively bad. Right now her second run isn't connecting in the same manner that her first did both in terms of her character development and match quality.
People have been disappointed with what they have seen so far as everything has felt very flat and without much purpose. Fans want to see Rousey step up to the level she was previously, and if she doesn't there could be some problems moving forward with fan reactions.
