10 Things The Miz Never Did In Wrestling

Throughout his career, The Miz has become one of the most successful wrestlers of his era. He is a former WWE Champion, 8-time Intercontinental Champion, 2-time United States Champion, and 8-time Tag Team Champion. He has also won the Money In The Bank ladder match and competed in the main event of WrestleMania.

The Miz even found success in his short time outside of WWE, winning the DSW Heavyweight Championship and the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship. But, with all the success he's had and all the things he's accomplished, there are still things The Awesome One has never done in wrestling.

10 Win King Of The Ring

In August of 2019, WWE announced that it would be bringing back the King Of The Ring tournament for the first time in 4 years. When the bracket was announced, it was official that The Miz would be competing in the tournament for the first time in his career.

The Miz ended up taking on Baron Corbin in the first round which he lost. There hasn't been a King Of The Ring since, and with where The Miz is at in his career, it's unlikely he'll ever win the tournament even if it was brought back.

9 Compete In A Last Man Standing Match

The Miz has competed in many types of matches throughout his career, including some of the most brutal matches WWE has to offer. But, one match that The Miz has never taken part in is a Last Man Standing match.

There have been nearly 40 Last Man Standing matches since The Miz debuted with the WWE, and with some of the hellacious blood feuds he has been apart of, it is amazing that The Awesome One has never competed under this stipulation.

8 Win The ECW Championship

As part of the 2007 WWE draft, The Miz was sent to ECW for the first and only time of his career. He formed a very successful tag team with John Morrison and won the WWE Tag Team Championship, and was consistently one of the greatest things on the program. But, one thing he was never able to do was to win the ECW Championship.

He ended up getting 3 shots at the ECW Championship in his career, coming up short twice against CM Punk at Cyber Sunday and Survivor Series in 2007, and losing the ECW Championship scramble at Unforgiven 2008.

7 Compete Inside Hell In A Cell

Another brutal match type that The Miz has never competed in is a Hell In A Cell match. He has competed on the Hell In A Cell PPV 5 times in his career, but never in the titular match.

The only time The Miz was ever in Satan's structure is when he and R-Truth infamously interrupted the WWE Championship Hell In A Cell match at Hell In A Cell 2011 between Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, and John Cena, attacking everyone inside. Again, with The Miz's tendency to make any feud he's involved with personal, it's quite shocking he's never competed in the Devil's Playground.

6 Win The World Heavyweight Championship

Before being deactivated in 2013, the World Heavyweight Championship was one of the top prizes in professional wrestling. It was a title that wrestlers like The Undertaker, Edge, and John Cena have gone to war for. It was also a title that The Miz was never able to get his hands on.

The Miz has proven that he can climb to the mountaintop when he won the WWE Championship. But, he was never able to get back to that level to win the World Heavyweight Title. As a matter of fact, he never competed in a World Heavyweight Championship match.

5 Stay In The Main Event Scene After Losing The WWE Championship

In 2010, The Miz won his first WWE Championship, solidifying a spot in the main event scene for the first time in his career. He went on to defend his championship against Randy Orton, and then Jerry Lawler. Then came the biggest match of his career, when he defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 27.

He ended up losing the title at Extreme Rules 2011, and shortly after dropped out of the main event scene. The Miz has said in the past that he did everything he could to keep his spot, but WWE just liked him in the mid-card more.

4 Tie Chris Jericho's Intercontinental Title Record

The Miz Intercontinental Champion

One of the things that The Miz is most well known for is being an 8-time Intercontinental Champion. That is the second-most reigns in history, one behind Chris Jericho's record of 9 Intercontinental Title reigns.

The Miz last won the Intercontinental Title back in 2018, when he defeated Roman Reigns at Raw 25. He is firmly in the tag division right now, which puts in doubt that he will ever tie Jericho's record.

3 Win A Title At WrestleMania (Main Card)

The Miz has seemingly done everything at WrestleMania. He has successfully defended titles, been in headline matches, and even won the main event of WrestleMania 27 against John Cena. But one thing The Miz has never done at The Show of Shows is win a title.

The Miz has competed in 4 title matches at WrestleMania. He retained the title in 2 of the matches, lost it in 1, and neither won or lost the title in the other. The closest he ever came to winning a title at WrestleMania was when he defeated Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship on the WrestleMania 29 pre-show.

2 Win The Universal Championship

Another important World Title that The Miz has failed to win in his career is the Universal Championship. The Universal Title was first created in 2016 after the Brand Split.

The Miz has competed in a handful of Universal Championship matches in his career but wasn't a real threat in any of them. He fell to Bray Wyatt twice in January of 2020, and then most recently lost to Braun Strowman at Backlash 2020.

1 Win The Royal Rumble

The Miz has won almost every big match there is to win in the WWE, becoming one of WWE's most decorated superstars in the process. But, one big match that he has never been able to win is the Royal Rumble match.

The Miz has competed in 12 Royal Rumble matches in his career and got extremely close to winning multiple times. In fact, he is among the top 20 in spending the most cumulative time in Royal Rumble matches. He has just never been able to be the last man standing.
