2023 was an excellent year for WWE overall, as most fans were satisfied with what they saw. The TV shows and PPVs were top-notch, and the company has regained the quality it had lost in recent years. In fact, some fans who had stopped watching WWE came back this year, and this can be proven by the promotion's earnings and ratings.

However, his development has taken longer than expected, and he had to wait until 2023 to make his in-ring debut at NXT The Great American Bash 2023, against Baron Corbin. Unfortunately, the match stunk, Steveson looked green and sloppy, and Corbin didn't do much to help him look any better. Steveson's debut was disappointing and is something fans would like to forget.

At Royal Rumble 2023, Bray Wyatt and LA Knight faced off in the first ever Pitch Black match. The lights were off, but the ropes, gear and Wyatt's makeup glowed in the dark, resulting in cool visuals. However, the match as such was very boring, with no drama, and lasted barely five minutes, so they couldn't tell a proper story. With that said, fans will wish they could forget this match.
8 Hit Row Was A Miss And Not A Hit

- They had mediocre feuds.
- Hit Row disbanded and Top Dolla was released.
Triple H brought Hit Row back to WWE, so, fans thought he had big plans for the stable. However, Triple H booked terrible feuds and segments for Hit Row, and the group was not good enough to shine on their own. They couldn’t connect with the audience and Triple H gave up on them quickly. The stable was disbanded and Top Dolla ended up being released. That’s why fans want to forget about Hit Row.

And none of that mattered because he was released from his WWE contract.

The feud between Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey was interesting because they are real life friends, two very tough women who would face each other for the first time. The promos and match build were good, but the match itself was terrible.

Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair had a feud with Alexa Bliss earlier in the year, and even though it was several months ago, there wasn't much worse than this in WWE in 2023.
At the time, Bliss was under the influence of Uncle Howdy and her character was going through some changes, while fans were bored with Belair because they felt her character was repetitive. Their match at Royal Rumble 2023 sucked, the in-ring action was sloppy, the storytelling was non-existent, and nothing interesting happened with Alexa Bliss' character.

At first, it was very interesting to see who this Uncle Howdy was and see what his purpose was, but eventually, fans got tired of waiting. Then Bray Wyatt got sick and sadly passed away, so the Uncle Howdy storyline came to a sudden end, and fans got no answers.
2 Women’s WrestleMania Showcase
This Match Was Not WrestleMania-Worthy
- Four throw-away tag teams in a random match.
- It was a boring contest.
- Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won the match.
At WrestleMania 39, there was a Women's Fatal Four Way Tag Team match, which was to get more people into the event, but they forgot about quality. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler defeated Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, and Natalya and Shotzi. It was a mediocre and boring match that didn't belong at WrestleMania. We're supposed to be talking about The Showcase of the Immortals, the Show of Shows, the Biggest Stage of Them All, but this match didn’t live up.

It Was The Worst Episode Of The Year
- Fans expected a great episode.
- The Raw after WrestleMania was just not good.
- Fans were mad and disappointed about it.
After the success of WrestleMania 39, fans were expecting a great episode of Monday Night Raw, but ended up disappointed because it was arguably the worst show WWE produced in 2023. Brock Lesnar turned heel and attacked Cody Rhodes for no reason just to prevent a rematch between Cody and Roman Reigns.
Omos squashed Elias, Bobby Lashley squashed Mustafa Ali, and we also had a terrible match between Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez and Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. Also, the promos were terrible, and the whole episode felt mediocre. And, to make matters worse, the only returning wrestler was Riddle.
