Vince found a new way to cheat Austin out of a rightful win by having someone raise and lower the briefcase hanging above the ring at various points. Austin saw it going out of reach every time he was about to win. WWE never revealed the person behind this, but it was always viewed as Big Boss Man since he rejoined The Corporation the next night.
