It is very well known that WWE likes to push a certain type of individual, with it perhaps being a running joke that Vince McMahon loves big and muscly performers. When looking at the current WWE roster, it is clear to see that some of those on the roster have eye-catching physiques, fitting the stereotypical bill of being a WWE superstar.

However, there are some on WWE’s roster who look much more average compared to most, not exactly being what many would immediately describe as a “WWE” type of performer. Many of these wrestlers prove though that it comes down to talent rather than looks for the most part, and if you don’t have charisma and in-ring ability then it is hard to succeed anywhere, even WWE.

10 Eye-Catching Physique: Bobby Lashley

For Bobby Lashley to look as good as he does at the age of 47 is nothing short of extraordinary, especially with all the years he’s put into the professional wrestling business. He has an incredible physique and doesn’t seem to age at all.

Lashley caught the eye of Vince McMahon many years ago in his first WWE stint, and it seemed as though he was set for big things as a major babyface, though it didn’t end up working out at the time. It took a little while, but Lashley with his great look finally achieved WWE Title glory in his second WWE run.

Sami Zayn became one of the most popular stars in WWE at the end of 2022 and start of 2023, and it all came with him not fitting the bill of the conventional muscle-bound superstar that WWE likes so much to push.

Zayn has a slimmer look, he isn’t as overly toned and large as many others on the roster, and looks much more average. However, this allows him to perfectly play a convincing underdog babyface which is why so many people got on his side during The Bloodline storyline.

Jinder Mahal returned to WWE after getting his release several years back, and he came back with a redesigned look and an incredible physique which made him look like a main eventer - and that is what Vince McMahon thought too.

Mahal went from jobber and to WWE Champion in a shocking ascent up the card, and it all came down to his hard work to have one of the most eye-catching bodies in all of WWE. Whilst his stock has dropped in recent years, he still looks great.

Dominik Mysterio’s physique isn’t on show too much due to his ring attire, but it doesn’t look entirely eye-catching anyway. However, for someone like Mysterio, who plays a character that constantly needs help to win, his more average look plays into that well.

Mysterio may not fit the bill of being a world champion, but he is settling very well into his WWE career alongside the Judgment Day faction.

When Braun Strowman made his WWE debut, his size was impressive but his body wasn’t all that striking. However, as the years have gone on Strowman has worked hard to improve his physique in a major way.

Strowman now has one of the most impressive bodies on the entire roster. His look matched with his massive height makes him someone who has the look of a world champion, though unfortunately he hasn’t quite found momentum since his return to the company last year to try and climb back up the mountain.

Nikki Cross is smaller than most on the roster and she doesn’t have as eye-catching of a physique as most of the other women in the company, but this is something that has certainly played into her different characters over the years.

Whether it be as an unlikely superhero or crazed competitor, her style has always looked like someone who is using every tool she has to gain an advantage, using her body as a weapon and brawling like a maniac.

4 Eye-Catching Physique: Rhea Ripley

Out of all the women on the WWE roster, Rhea Ripley by far has the most eye-catching physique. She is incredibly muscular, looks like a dominant competitor, and wrestles in a style that really highlights that.

There is a reason why she has risen the ranks and become one of the biggest stars of the division, and it is because she screams “star” in every aspect, one of which being her look and presence. Bray Wyatt has often gotten criticisms for his look, but is he someone cut from the same cloth as Mick Foley in terms of body-type, and it has never gotten in the way of his incredible charisma, and (when given the chance to actually wrestle) great matches against the likes of Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, and John Cena.

Wyatt makes up for an unimpressive physique by ensuring that the rest of his presentation makes him stand out and look like a star.

There may be no one in WWE who quite has the look, presence, and superhuman physique of Brock Lesnar. He is unlike any other, and even with his growing age he seems to just look better and better.
