Dana White Admits Finding UFC 300 Headliner Is Struggle

UFC CEO Doesn’t Have A Headliner For The HIstoric Card

During a press briefing on Friday, Dana White informed reporters about the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the UFC 300 headliner. He emphasized the intriguing nature of the situation, expressing the organization's commitment to delivering an exceptional event. White highlighted the depth of the card, noting that every bout, including the Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt matchup, possesses main event caliber.

“Who knows who’s going to be the UFC 300 headliner. It’s been interesting, I can tell you that. Obviously, we want to deliver. I keep saying this: Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt is literally the first fight of the night. So when you look at the card how it sits today, every single (fight) could be a main event on a Fight Night or a pay-per-view. We’re just waiting for that last one. We’ve got two more fights we have to put together. We’re working on it.”

He disclosed that there are still two fights pending confirmation to complete the lineup. Despite recent speculation, White dismissed the possibility of Conor McGregor headlining UFC 300, and Jon Jones, the UFC heavyweight champion, confirmed that he was offered the opportunity but is not ready to compete so soon after his injury.
