Gangrel Wants In On Edge's New Faction
One of the most anticipated matches heading into WrestleMania weekend was Edge versus AJ Styles. It's probably fair to say that even though the match was good, it didn't quite live up to the hype. Partly because it was overshadowed by the likes of Bianca Belair versus Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins versus Cody Rhodes, but also because it wasn't allowed to play out thanks to the interruption of Damian Priest.
Gangrel On Edge's New Venture
Priest's inclusion in the match's final moments was needed for the purposes of the story that has unfolded since. Edge has done what he arguably knows best and joined forces with someone else. The Brood, The Ministry Of Darkness, his lifelong friendship with Christian, and now what appears to be the beginnings of an all-new faction starting with himself and Priest.

Speaking of The Brood, the iconic but short-lived stable's leader Gangrel recently shared his thoughts on his former protege's new group. “I love how he's got like a mixed Brood/Taker vibe with the raise of the chair and the fire. That was really cool,” Gangrel told Wrestling Inc. As for whether we might see the former WWE Superstar become a part of the group himself, there are no plans right now, but Gangrel says he would love to play a part.
No Reunion Talks... Yet
“There's no reunions, no talks, with Christian or Edge. Although it would be really cool to be with Damian Priest and Edge, that's cool.” While Gangrel's name might not have come up, there appear to be plans to bring other people into Edge and Priest's group. It seems almost nailed on at this point that Rhea Ripley will be a part of the group before long, something else Gangrel is a fan of, and perhaps Tommaso Ciampa down the line too.
Edge revived The Brood's entrance last year, using it at SummerSlam. Apparently that halted plans for AEW to bring in Gangrel, something that was slated to take place on Dynamite just a few days later. Thinking they would be accused of piggybacking on WWE after Edge's homage to The Brood, the plan to bring in Gangrel was put on ice and hasn't been revisited since.
