Graphic Test May Have Spoiled Surprise Royal Rumble Return
A photo showing something WWE was testing on Minute Maid Park's big screen may have spoiled one of the surprises it has planned for tomorrow's Royal Rumble.
The Royal Rumble is now less than 24 hours away. In fact, by the time you read this, it might be the day of the show. One of the things that make the Royal Rumble matches two of the most-anticipated of the year are the surprises. Whether it be a returning star, legend, or entrant from NXT, fans love surprise Rumble entrants.
When it comes to this year's Rumbles, there's room for a lot of surprises in one, but not much room in the other. At the time of typing this, 26 entrants have been confirmed for the men's Royal Rumble. Meanwhile, only seven Superstars have been confirmed for the women's match.

Four spots in the men's match hasn't left fans much room to fantasy book. Plus, a leaked photo of what WWE has been up to in Minute Maid Park, where the Royal Rumble will take place, over the weekend may have given them one less spot to play with. The image, posted by WrestlingNews.co on Twitter, appears to show an MVP graphic on the stadium's big screen. Is WWE running tests ahead of his return at the big show?
Reaction to the leak on Twitter has been mixed. As expected, some fans are upset that one of the final four spots may now have been accounted for. Others are excited to see MVP return if the leaked image actually turns out to be legitimate, of course. It certainly wouldn't be a long trip for the former United States Champion. He lives in Houston, Texas after all.
Should MVP make an appearance in the Rumble tomorrow, it would cap off a busy week for the former WWE Superstar. The wrestler was aboard the Jericho Cruise a few days ago, posting a photo of himself alongside Chris Jericho aboard the ship. If only he had mentioned his potential Rumble run-in to Jericho at the time. Now that man knows how to throw wrestling fans off of a strong scent.
