Heels Season 2 To Feature AEW and Impact Wrestling Stars
Heels -- the original drama that premiered on STARZ last August -- is returning for a second season! Season 1 featured AEW CM Punk portraying an indie wrestler named Ricky Rabies, but for season 2, the producers have decided to bring in a few more recognizable stars of the squared circle.
Per PWInsider, Impact Wrestling performers Jordynne Grace and Savannah Evans were on the Heels set in Georgia earlier this week.
AEW star Serena Deeb -- who will go one-on-one with Thunder Rosa at Double Or Nothing on Sunday -- will reportedly also be appearing in the upcoming season of Heels.

Created by Loki executive producer Michael Waldron, Heels tells the tale of an independent wrestling promotion in the fictional Georgia town of Duffy, whose residents rely on the company's weekly shows to provide them with a welcome respite from the grind of day-to-day life. The Duffy Wrestling League (DWL) is owned by lawnmower peddler Jack Spade (Stephen Amell), who also happens to be the promotion's top bad guy. Jack's younger brother Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig) is a white meat babyface who has his sights set on his bully big brother's championship belt.
As you might recall, CM Punk actually took advantage of his stint on Heels to prepare for his first match in seven years. During a chat with Kap and J. Hood on their ESPN podcast, The Voice Of The Voiceless said that he clocked up a few in-ring hours while making the show which helped him shake off some ring rust.
"Obviously, I'm in a television show called Heels, that's on STARZ, I've been in the ring. We've filmed me wrestling. I have gotten in the ring and I have been training, but not super extensively because it beats your body up. I'm trying to be smart about it," he said.
