IBM DS8000 Storage Systems (REST) - Documentation for BMC Discovery content reference

IBM DS8000 storage systems are discovered via the embedded REST API. Therefore the storage system can be discovered by scanning the storage device. As part of routine discovery, when the IBM DS8000 storage system is encountered, an IBM DS8000 storage device node is automatically added to the BMC Discovery infrastructure.  Once discovered, the storage entities are modeled in BMC Discovery.

• Username and password are used to access to IBM DS8000 system.
