Kierstan & BF Jay Harrington Celebrate 1-Year Anniversary
Love Island USA star Kierstan Saulter and SWAT actor Jay Harrington have celebrated their one-year anniversary together with a funny Instagram post.
Kierstan Saulter has long moved on from her relationship with Carrington Rodriguez on Love Island USA season 2 and is now celebrating her one-year anniversary of dating S.W.A.T. actor Jay Harrington. Reality TV fans were introduced to Kierstan on Love Island USA as a 23-year-old bartender from Castroville, Texas. As a day-one islander, Carrington had been coupled up with Kaitlynn Anderson at the time, but it was clear that nothing was going on between them. As a result, he re-coupled with Kierstan and they stayed together for some time.
Over time, Kierstan and Carrington's relationship went sour on Love Island USA, which prompted them to break up and stay friends. That happened immediately before the Casa Amor twist, so Carrington felt like he had free reign to pursue any other relationship he wanted. On the other hand, Kierstan still held onto feelings she had for Carrington and deliberately closed herself off to the new Casa Amor boys. In the end, Kierstan was dumped from the villa and Carrington was a finalist along with Laurel Goldman.
Now, Kierstan is celebrating the one-year anniversary of her relationship with Jay Harrington. She celebrated her first anniversary with Jay by sharing two pictures on Instagram that represent how she feels one month into their relationship versus one year into it. In turn, Kierstan noted that she was obviously just kidding, adding: "I'm so grateful for this man and everything the past year has brought me. I love you!" #oneyear." Kierstan and Jay kept their relationship mostly under wraps throughout 2021, but they eventually started to share pictures together on social media toward the end of last year.
TV viewers know Kierstan due to her stint on Love Island USA season 2. Alas, fans will recognize Jay Harrington from the hit CBS series S.W.A.T. where he plays one of the main characters: Sergeant II David "Deacon" Kay. Jay joined the show in season 1 and is still appearing on S.W.A.T. season 5, which is now airing on CBS. Jay's additional TV credits include Better Off Ted, Suits, Desperate Housewives, Summerland, and Private Practice. With Kierstan sharing this anniversary post on March 21, 2022 fans can deduce that she's been with Jay since March 2021 - long before pictures of them together on social media came to the surface.
Considering that Carrington has reportedly also been in a relationship as of late, it is safe to say that these two Love Island stars have both moved on and are finding themselves in happy relationships. Kierstan was all-in on Carrington in the villa, but he went in a different direction and made it all the way to the finale. As of 2022, viewers are eagerly awaiting Love Island USA season 4 to move to Peacock.
