Maria Menounos & Other Celebrities Who Love WWE
Celebrities and wrestling are no strangers to each other, as the first-ever WrestleMania saw celebrities like Cyndi Lauper as a manager, Mr. T wrestling in the main event, Muhammad Ali as a referee, and a performance by Liberace, while also being the timekeeper. The fact is that wrestling is part athleticism and sport, and part acting and performance, something that will attract many celebrities.
RELATED: Andy Kaufman & 9 Other Celebrity Wrestling HeelsWWE in particular is always quick to announce which celebrities are at the event. They even had a bunch of celebrities host Raw in the mid-2000s. Even AEW has brought in celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Mike Tyson, and Shaquille O'Neal.
10 Action Bronson
Action Bronson has always shown love for professional wrestling in his music, delivering lines about wrestling. Bronson's debut album had song titles such as "Barry Horowitz" and "Larry Csonka." Bronson has even listed his favorite wrestlers, with some being Tito Santana, Ric Martell, The Hart Foundation, Kamala, and Bruno Sammartino, while still being a fan of many others. Bronson also had a conversation with Peter Rosenberg and Wale to talk about if wrestling had gone mainstream. However, just recently, it was taken to another level, as Bronson was revealed to do the theme song for the debuting Hook in AEW. Taz noted on the broadcast that action Bronson is a friend of both him and his son.
9 Macaulay Culkin
Macaulay Culkin has seemingly loved pro wrestling from an early age. As a young star, Culkin can be seen at WrestleMania 7, but that was not the only time the Home Alone star was involved in wrestling as he pranked Chavo Guerrero Jr on Raw in 2009. He was also frequently seen at PWG shows, displaying that his love for wrestling went beyod that of WWE. Culkin has even interfered in wrestling matches on the independent scene, getting involved in a Bar Wrestling show. He wants to have a moment at WrestleMania, as he has teased with an exchange on Twitter with Rusev, then asking various wrestlers online if they would tag with him. Who knows? Maybe there is a Miro vs. Culkin match in the near future for AEW.
8 Maria Menounos
Maria Menounos is one of the most known celebrities to wrestling fans due to how much she frequents WWE. Menounos first showed up in WWE back in 2009 when she hosted Monday Night Raw with Nancy O'Dell. She even wrestled that night in a Six-Women Tag Team match with Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, and Menounos walking out victorious.

She competed at WrestleMania 28 with Kelly Kelly as her partner against Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres. She is currently signed to the WWE as an ambassador for the company.
7 Dan Soder
Comedian Dan Soder proudly wears the badge of one of comedy's biggest professional wrestling fans. It seems as though in each stand-up, Soder somehow incorporates wrestling in his set. The Billions actor is also known for having one of the best "Macho Man" Randy Savage impressions a wrestling fan can hear. Soder has been featured on Busted Open Radio and Sam Robert's Show to discuss his love of wrestling. Hardcore wrestling and comedy fans are always quick to point out when they see Soder at Raw events.
6 Ron Funches
Comedian Ron Funches is a massive wrestling fan, and has talked about wrestling in his acts. Funches even got Ric Flair to open up his special Giggle Fit in 2018. Funches took his love of wrestling to the next level when he wrestled for the Japanese promotion, DDT Pro-Wrestling, known for having a mixture of all types of wrestling on their shows. Funches won the DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship, which is similar to WWE's Hardcore or 24/7 Championship. Funches defeated Laura James by forfeit to win the title. Funches has even been involved with GCW this year, losing to Tony Deppen in a grudge match.
5 Bad Bunny
Many celebrities have been involved in matches to help promote the company. However, nobody has taken it as seriously and trained as hard as Bad Bunny did for his WrestleMania 37match with Damien priest against John Morrison and The Miz. Spotify's most listened-to artist, two years in a row, stopped everything to move down to Orlando to train at the Performance Center with WWE wrestlers.
RELATED: David Arquette & 9 Other Celebrities Who Won Wrestling TitlesIt paid off beautifully, as Bad Bunny's debut was not only the best celebrity debut ever, even doing better than commentator pat McAfee's in-ring debut, but it was better than many wrestlers on the roster for their first time.
4 LeBron James
Arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, LeBron James is a massive professional wrestling fan. James famously attended Monday Night Raw in 2003 with his flip phone, but that's not the only time that James has shown his love of professional wrestling. While James' Cleveland Cavaliers were down 3-1 to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals in 2016, James wore an Undertaker T-shirt, symbolizing that the Cavs were not dead. The Cavs went on to defeat the Golden State Warriors, pulling off the only 3-1 comeback in NBA history, and as the team got off the bus to return to Cleveland, Ohio with the NBA Championship, James was seen wearing an Ultimate Warrior T-shirt, as a joke on the team that he had just defeated.
3 Kevin Love
LeBron James is not the only basketball wrestling fan. The Cleveland Cavaliers shared a love of pro wrestling in 2016, with Kevin Love being quite possibly a self-proclaimed bigger fan than anyone else on the team. Love has been pictured many times sporting wrestling T-shirts such as Austin 3:16 and smashing beers together like the Texas Rattlesnake when they won the NBA Championship. In fact, Love has even said that wrestling was a common interest in the Cavs Championship locker room, with the likes of himself, LeBron James, J.R. Smith, and Channing Frye being massive 1990s and early-2000s wrestling fans.
2 Stephen Amell
Stephen Amell is another example of a celebrity loving wrestling so much that they want to get in the ring. However, as that has gone terrible for many, it did not go terrible for Amell. Amell is a friend of wrestler Cody Rhodes, and Rhodes was even featured on Amell's show, Arrow.
RELATED: 5 Celebrity/Wrestler Feuds That Were Great (& 5 That Were Awful)Teaming with Neville against his friend Cody Rhodes (Stardust at the time) and Wade Barrett, the star of Arrow impressed in his wrestling debut, and it would not be his final match. Amell took on Christopher Daniels at AEW All In and is now a lead actor on the wrestling-themed Starz show,Heels.
1 Wale
When it comes to celebrity wrestling fans, there may not be a celebrity that goes above and beyond for the business other than Wale. Wale is a massive fan of multiple companies and has worked with WWE on many occasions. He has even had the luxury of performing Big E's entrance at WrestleMania 37. He has also hosted a rap battle between The New Day and The Usos on SmackDown. He shoutouts wrestling in many interviews and uses wrestling bars in his music. Possibly the most impressive is Wale hosts an event called WaleMania, the week of WrestleMania, where wrestlers, fans, and celebrities celebrate wrestling and watch performances.
