Misty's Corsola is the father of her Azurill

How does Azurill know refresh, a move that it could only learn by breeding?
Azurills can learn refresh as an egg move when its father is a corsola or a milotic. Now in my book an egg move is the equivalent of a paternity test for pokemon. So I started looking for corsolas and milotics that would be in contact with Tracy's Marill. And there was only one result, Misty's Corsola. So that answers one question, on to the next one.
