Nikki Cross Reacts To Killian Dain's WWE Release
WWE Superstar Nikki Cross has shared a touching tribute to her husband Killian Dain, who was released by WWE on Friday, June 25 along with several other now-former members of WWE's roster.
Cross took to Twitter to sing Dain's praises in the immediate aftermath of his release.
"The whole world is waiting for you my love," Cross wrote. "I have seen your talent, your experience, your versatility, your work, your passion, your dedication, And your heart, first hand and up close. I have the best seat in the house. I can’t wait to watch you unleashed."
In the wake of his release, Dain also took to social media to thank some of the people who inspired him during his time in WWE. Dain thanked his fellow Northern Irishman Fit Finlay, as well as Triple H and Shawn Michaels. He also took the time to thank Nikki for supporting him for the last 13 years. Dain also confirmed that he is under the standard 90-day no-compete clause.

"I'm only 36. I love what I do," Dain wrote. "I believe I'm entering my prime and I cannot wait to show you what you missed," he informed his former employers.
Cross and Dain (real names Nicola Glencross and Damian Mackle) tied the knot in 2019 after more than 10 years together. The couple rose through the ranks of the UK independent scene together before relocating to the United States after signing with WWE in 2016.
After signing with WWE, both Cross and Dain reported for duty at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando and started out in WWE's developmental brand NXT. They were both members of the anarchistic stable known as Sanity along with Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe. The group eventually disbanded, and Young and Wolfe were released by WWE in 2020 and 2021 respectively -- which means Nikki is the only Sanity member remaining on WWE's roster.
