[Report] WWE May Continue Brock Lesnar & Drew McIntyre Feud
After defeating Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE Champion at WrestleMania 36, it looks like Drew McIntyre will end up feuding with Seth Rollins next.
At the end of Monday Night Raw, The Architect attacked McIntyre to seemingly plant the seeds for their feud. Given Rollins' long-term status as a main eventer, it makes sense to pair him in a feud with the Scottish Psychopath.
McIntyre may be feuding with Rollins next, but it doesn't necessarily mean that his program with the Beast Incarnate is completely done with. Lesnar is supposed to be entitled to a rematch, as per tradition.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Shiven Sachdeva of Sportskeeda), suggests that the Lesnar-McIntyre feud could resume at some point. He states they "could have had more variety and doing those nearly identical bouts on successive nights seemed weird." Meltzer also said that the two superstars left "an opening to do a longer match later."
It could be a while until we see Lesnar back on television, however. Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com believes that the former WWE Champion "will probably be out of WWE’s storylines for the near future," amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

When Lesnar dropped the Universal Championship to Rollins at WrestleMania 35 last year, he didn't wait long to return. Lesnar made a last-minute appearance in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match, where he emerged victorious.
Given the current circumstances, however, it's hard to imagine that Lesnar will be back in short time just like last year. WWE likes taking their time in building up his matches and feuds, and given the uncertainty right now, it doesn't make sense to rush him back.
WWE Should Definitely Do A Rematch Or Two
The program between McIntyre and Lesnar was downright excellent and entertaining. They displayed strong in-ring work together, and the promos were top-notch. McIntyre proved to be a worthwhile opponent for Lesnar, a longtime main event star. When the time is right, WWE should definitely rekindle the feud and run a rematch or two. They simply won't regret it.
