Rey Mysterio & 8 Other Wrestlers Triple H Never Faced In A Singles Match

Triple H is one of the greatest individuals in WWE history, he has had a truly illustrious career. HHH has been in this business for almost 30 years, and during that long time he faced off against countless wrestlers, and it is worth mentioning that he defeated pretty much everyone.

However, there are some wrestlers that, for some reason, Triple H never faced one on one, such as Rey Mysterio, and they worked for the same promotion for many years, but their paths never crossed. Without further ado, below is Rey Mysterio and eight other wrestlers Triple H never battled in a singles match.

9 Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio and Triple H have worked together for WWE for over 15 years, but incredibly they have never faced each other in a singles match. It is very surprising that they have not even had a small feud between 2002 and 2010, which were their best years, and they had a reason because Mysterio eliminated Triple H in the 2006 Royal Rumble.

They have only faced each other in a couple of tag team matches and in a handicap match. It's a real shame that Triple H never had a program with Rey Mysterio. In fact, they could have even fought for a world title.

8 Kofi Kingston

It's a little more understandable that Triple H never faced Kofi Kingston in singles action, as Kingston has been a tag team wrestler for most of his career.

It should also be noted that Triple H stopped wrestling full time in 2011, from then on, he only had sporadic matches. Kofi Kingston was a regular WWE wrestler since 2008, but in those couple of years, their paths only crossed in multi-man matches, such as the Elimination Chamber match in 2010.

7 The Miz

The Miz made his WWE debut in late 2004, so he did work alongside Triple H for several years. However, they never faced each other in a singles match.

If we want to see Triple H wrestle The Miz, all we can do is watch some of their tag team matches. For example, Triple H and Shawn Michaels faced off against The Miz and John Morrison on the November 3, 2008, episode of Monday Night Raw. Also, on the January 9, 2009, episode of SmackDown Triple H defeated The Miz and Chavo Guerrero in a handicap match.

6 Christian

Triple H and Christian only shared the ring five times on television, three tag team matches, a battle royal, and the 2002 Royal Rumble, but nothing else. Surprisingly HHH never faced Christian in a singles match.

Frankly, it's hard to believe this match never happened. Certainly, Christian was in tag team action for a long time, but he also had singles careers that saw him capture the Intercontinental Title four times and the World Heavyweight Title twice. If Triple H and Christian would have faced each other, they would have put on a great show.

5 Matt Cardona

Matt Cardona (formerly known as Zack Ryder) also, never had the joy of facing Triple H in a singles match. They only shared the ring in a tag team Gauntlet match on the December 5, 2008, episode of SmackDown and in the 2010 Royal Rumble match.

Admittedly, in the late 2000s, Ryder was a mid-card wrestler, and he didn't get a singles push until late 2011 when he won the United States Title. Triple H, on the other hand, was always in the main event picture, so it's no wonder they didn't face each other.

4 Tommy Dreamer

Tommy Dreamer was an amazing hardcore wrestler, he put his body on the line countless times just to entertain the fans. If Tommy Dreamer and Triple H ever faced each other one on one, it would have been a brutal battle, no doubt about it. Plus, Tommy would have been a perfect babyface to face Triple H.

However, on Monday Night Raw, Dreamer was never given the opportunity to go beyond WWE's hardcore division, so he could never have a feud with Triple H.

3 Diamond Dallas Page

Triple H and Diamond Dallas Page worked together in both WCW and WWE, but they never faced each other, not even in a tag team match. The only time HHH and DDP were in the same match was at the 2002 Royal Rumble, but by the time The Game entered the ring, Page had already been eliminated. It's a real shame that Triple H never faced DDP, as it would have been a very interesting match, to say the least.

2 Chris Masters

Chris Masters was part of the WWE roster for six years, but he never faced Triple H in a singles match. Masters had the look of a world champion, but his in-ring skills weren't that good, and he wasn't a great talker, so it's no wonder he never got a big push.

Masters and Triple H faced each other in a couple of tag team matches, the last took place in the main event of the September 7, 2009, episode of Monday Night Raw.

1 Bobby Lashley

A match between Triple H and Bobby Lashley would have been brutal, something that many fans would definitely love to see, but unfortunately, their paths never crossed.

Incredibly, they only shared the ring at the 2006 Royal Rumble, other than that, they never participated in matches together. WWE tends to book the same matches over and over again, and that's precisely why Triple H was unable to face several wrestlers who would have been great opponents.
