RK-Bro Has Made Randy Orton Great Again
Despite being in the business for two decades now, and having long grown stale in the eyes of WWE fans, RK-Bro has made Randy Orton as entertaining and as fresh as he has ever been.
The pair is currently enjoying an incredible run in the Raw tag team division, and are routinely one of the most exciting aspects of WWE's flagship show.

It's a far cry from the boring and stale nature of a lot of the Viper's recent work, with his time alongside the Original Bro really re-energizing his character, getting him over with the crowd in a way he hasn't been for years. It was rumored that WWE originally intended on breaking the pair up heading into WrestleMania but plans changed, and with how much Orton is benefiting from the role - as well as really enjoying himself for the first time in a while - it's clear to see why WWE changed their minds.
It's The Most Fun He's Had In Years
If it wasn't apparent enough already, Orton's time with Riddle is some of the most fun he's had in wrestling in years, he even said so himself. It's clear to see that the pair are having an absolute ball whenever they are on television, and it's helped to really reinvigorate the Apex Predator's character after several years of stale work.
Riddle's goofball nature is the perfect antithesis to Orton's straight-laced, broody persona, and it's really helped to show the former WWE champion in a brand-new light. He's clearly enjoying working alongside the former UFC man as it's far different from anything he's ever done in the company.
Similar to Brock Lesnar, Orton's enjoyment has really transferred over to his work, and he is producing some of the best stuff he has in a long time. It's easy to find the motivation to really step it up a level once you're having fun with what you're doing, and the 42-year-old has certainly found that motivation. For too long, fans have claimed the Viper was phoning it in, and admittedly he probably was for several years, but his time with Riddle has seen Orton really give his all, and it's given his character the breath of fresh air that is so desperately needed.
He Gets To Showcase A Comedic Side To Him That Fans Very Rarely See
Throughout his twenty-year WWE run, Orton has often been portrayed as a straight-laced, serious assassin. Whether it was his moody, chip on his shoulder babyface persona, or his sadistic, but angry villainous character, the Apex Predator has always been a very serious figure, until now.
One of the biggest benefits of his time with Riddle is the fact Orton has finally been able to show off his comedic side. Very rarely has it been on show in the past, but he's finally able to show audiences just how funny he can actually be when given the chance, and he's thriving at it.
The pair together are one of the funniest acts in the entire WWE, and it's not just down to Riddle's already funny gimmick. No, Orton is more than holding his own alongside his tag team partner, and the two characters play off each other perfectly. Too often, WWE tries - and fails - when it comes to comedy and their comedic characters, but they've really hit the nail on the head with RK-Bro, and fans are getting to see Orton in a completely different light.
While his act had grown quite stale after almost twenty years in the business, this huge character switch for Orton has really freshened him up, and fans are once again eager to see the Apex Predator whenever he appears.

His feud with The Fiend was a major disappointment for WWE fans and played a huge role in audiences growing tired of seeing the same old shtick out of Orton, and it was certainly time for a change, but no one could have predicted that what appeared to be a short-term throwaway tag team with Riddle, likely used as nothing more than a vehicle for another Randy Orton heel turn, would go on to be such a massive force of good in his career.
Hopefully, once the time comes for RK-Bro to go their separate ways, and fingers crossed Riddle is actually the one to turn on Orton, he won't go back to the broody, angry character that fans had grown tired of.
