Sasha Banks Hilariously Trolls Bayley On Twitter

It's been two weeks since Bayley viciously attacked longtime friend Sasha Banks, ultimately ending their tag team partnership.

Banks was absent from last week's episode of SmackDown Live. As part of the storyline, WWE stated that she's dealing with a compressed nerve in her neck as well as a bone bruise in her knee.

The former Raw Women's Champion is slated to appear on tomorrow's episode of SmackDown Live. But rather than wait until Friday to get a message across, Banks decided to have some fun on her Twitter page.

Banks cleverly trolled Bayley by posting this photo, which shows the current SmackDown Women's Champion bowing down to her:

Well, that's one way of building up for tomorrow's segment.

Banks and Bayley began working as heels together last year, and they enjoyed an illustrious run together on SmackDown Live. Both became double champions, holding the Women's Tag Team titles along with the SmackDown Women's Championship (Bayley), and the Raw Women's Championship (Banks).

But Banks lost her title match to Asuka at SummerSlam, making Bayley the lone remaining champion. That run came to an end, however, when the duo lost the Tag Team titles to Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at Payback.

The duo lost a rematch to Jax and Baszler on the ensuing episode of SmackDown, with Banks suffering a storyline knee injury during the bout. That caused Bayley to betray her best friend, which marked the beginning of a long-awaited and highly-anticipated feud.

What's Next For This Feud?

Although Clash of Champions is just 10 days away, it sounds like WWE won't pit Banks vs. Bayley until Hell in a Cell on Oct. 25. WWE could very well take its time building up the compelling feud between these two superstars, which was long overdue. One way or another, we'll see more developments for the new feud on tomorrow's episode of SmackDown.
