Sasha Banks Returns To SmackDown, Deceives And Attacks Bianca Belair

The reports were accurate! Sasha Bank made her first WWE appearance since WrestleMania when she returned to SmackDown on Friday night ... and she made her intentions perfectly clear.

The Boss returned n the first half of the show when she came to the aid of SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair -- the woman who defeated her in the main event of WrestleMania 37 night 1.

The segment began with Belair being congratulated by Kayla Braxton for surpassing 100 days as SmackDown's Women's Champion. Belair was reflecting on her reign when she was interrupted by Carmella and then Zelina Vega. Carmella requested another opportunity to compete for Belair's title despite losing in her two previous attempts which took place last week and the week before.

While Bianca and Carmella were in the ring, Zelina Vega entered the fray. Zelina demanded a shot at the title too, and just as Bianca was accepting Vega's challenge, Carmella attacked her from behind. Vega and Carmella beat Belair down for a few moments, and then Sasha's music hit.

The former SmackDown Women's Champion sprinted to the ring and made the save. She took down both Vega and Carmella and ejected them from the ring before helping Belair to her feet and embracing the champ in a hug.

Soon after, it was revealed that Banks and Belair would join forces to take on Vega and Carmella in a tag-team main event.

Belair and Bank won the match, but what happened after will have serious repercussions for the SmackdDown Women's Championship picture heading into SummerSlam. After the bel, Sasha attacked her partner with a backstabber while she celebrated and beat her down. She applied numerous Bank Statements and refused to break them when Belair tapped. As a statement of intent, Banks grabbed the SmackDown Women's title belt and raised it high like it was her own.
