Seth Rollins Hope Men's Royal Rumble Has A Bianca Belair Moment

It's almost Royal Rumble time once again and this year, you'd be hard pushed to pick a definite winner in either the men's or the women's match. Sure, there are favorites, but these might be the hardest Rumbles to predict in recent memory. On the men's side perhaps Kevin Owens could go all the way, and in the women's match Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair are strong contenders, although they might have Ronda Rousey to deal with.

Rollins' Royal Rumble Picks

The Royal Rumble is always one of the most anticipated events of the year, and that anticipation is really cranked up when fans don't know who is going to win the 30-person matches. TalkSport's Alex McCarthy recently caught up with Seth Rollins, and The Visionary discussed who he would like to see win the men's Rumble this weekend, even dropping a few names.

“I’d love a real surprise Rumble winner for people to get behind," Rollins said. “You look at Bianca Belair on the female side, winning the Rumble catapulted her into superstardom. I’d love to see that on the men’s side.” Belair was a shock winner in last year's Rumble match, going on to main event WrestleMania against Sasha Banks and win the SmackDown Women's Title.

The Bianca Belair Treatment

As for who Rollins thinks that surprise could be, he strays away from his on-screen character while also sort of sticking to it. The former WWE Champion makes it clear that he wants a Raw star to win the men's match, but names Superstars he doesn't exactly have a strong on-screen bond with. Finn Balor, Montez Ford, and Austin Theory make The Visionary's list, but interestingly, KO does not despite the two being buddies right now.

The friendship between the two is bound to blow up at some point, of course. The pair has big plans to headline WrestleMania together, a dream that could disappear as soon as this Saturday. To keep that dream alive, KO needs to win the Rumble and Rollins will need to beat Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. Judging by Rollins' picks to win the Rumble, he doesn't actually want that match to happen anyway.
