Seth Rollins Reacts To Fan Attack On Raw

There was a lot to digest following this week's Raw, which isn't always the case despite it being three hours long. However, the biggest talking point coming out of the show was something that wasn't even supposed to happen. As Seth Rollins made his way back to the locker room following an in-ring segment with Finn Balor, he was attacked by a fan.

The fan was shown tackling Rollins live on Raw, knocking him to the floor. The camera quickly cut back to the ring where Balor was still recovering, but fan shot footage of the altercation between Rollins and the fan, as well as what happened after, has been doing the rounds online. TMZ has since caught up with Rollins and asked him how he feels about the incident.

“It happened very quickly. I was mostly just reacting and hoping that our security would come and do their job. Which they did very quickly,” Rollins explained, admitting that the whole thing was pretty terrifying. Although he escaped the clash with nothing more than a busted lip, there was a very real chance the attacker had a weapon on him if he had managed to sneak one into the arena.

A Ban From WWE Shows

Rollins also clarified to TMZ that the attack was not a part of the show, adding that he won't be pressing any charges against the fan. The NYPD has brought an attempted assault charge against the attacker and also released his name. When asked if he thinks the fan should be banned from WWE shows, Rollins said yes, but refused to commit to a lifetime ban adding that he is all about forgiveness.

The story continues to evolve all the time more than 24 hours after it happened. A social media post from the attacker since everything went down has revealed he had clearly been catfished by someone pretending to be Rollins online. The post also suggests he still doesn't fully understand what is going on and that he still believes he has been messaging Colby Lopez, which is Rollins' real name.
