The 10 Most Heelish Acts John Cena Committed As A Face
John Cena is one of the biggest babyfaces in WWE history. He was and still is every kid's biggest hero, and there wasn't a top heel in the company that he failed to face and beat for that matter. It has gotten to the point where even though he only wrestles once a year now, fans still beg for a heel turn because he has been a face for so long.

But along the way, Cena has done some questionable things. Something that isn't normal for his always-does-right character. Sometimes he has done things so questionable that fans think that the long-awaited heel turn has come. Here we list off the ten worst things John Cena has done as a face.
10 Deleted Promo Before WrestleMania 36
Starting off with the most recent instance of a heelish act by John Cena where he practically buried everyone on the main roster in a quickly deleted promo by WWE.
Cena was gearing up for his Firefly Fun House match with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36 and he decided to take some personal shots. First going after Wyatt, saying that he's just "Husky Harris in a mask". He then went after what he called a group of WWE Superstars, saying they were "entitled", and he's tired of seeing them walk around saying "I deserve this" or "I deserve that." Cena didn't say anything too outlandish here but it was a big departure from his normal babyface act, so it left fans wondering if Cena was indeed undergoing a character change.
9 Making Fat Jokes At Vickie Guerrero's Expense
On the December 20th, 2010 edition of Raw, John Cena decided to celebrate that The Nexus was finally gone, and what a better way to celebrate than to make fat jokes with Jerry Lawler at Vickie Guerrero's expense.

The whole segment felt inappropriate with Cena and Lawler doing to Vickie Guerrero exactly what WWE wholeheartedly condemn's, bullying. This made Cena seem immature and mean, and made you sympathize with Guerrero which really shouldn't have happened.
8 Attacking Todd Grisham
In a very weird moment that took everyone by surprise on the November 6th, 2006 edition of Raw, John Cena attacked WWE interviewer, Todd Grisham.
Cena was supposed to have the night off but he decided to make an appearance anyway. Grisham would then proceed to try to interview Cena before Cena would take the mic and cut a long promo about everything crazy happening in WWE, and how everything feels upside down. After that, for no reason, Cena would deliver an AA to Grisham.
7 Abandoning The Rock And Then AA'ing Him
On the March 28th, 2011 edition of Raw, John Cena's WrestleMania 27 opponent The Miz and his protege Alex Riley confronted Cena and The Rock.
The Miz would go on the cut a promo on the both of them, in the middle of which Cena would leave the ring for no reason. He would then look on as Miz and Riley attack The Rock and then as the People's Champion fought them off. In the end, Cena would sneakily come up behind The Rock and AA him.
6 Ruining Dolph Ziggler And AJ Lee's New Years Toast
There aren't much worse things you can do to a person than drop crap on them, so you would think a really bad guy would be the person to do that. But no, it was the top babyface in the company.

On the December 31st, 2012 edition of Raw, AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler were in the midst of a New Years Toast before John Cena would interrupt. He would then cut a long-winded promo about a variety of subjects. To close the evening he would then dump crap on them. The whole thing made Cena seem childish and spiteful and if you didn't know his character, it would have made you think for sure he was a heel.
5 Attacking Referee At ECW One Night Stand 2006
At ECW One Night Stand 2006, Cena went to war with Rob Van Dam for the WWE Championship, in front of one of the most hostile crowds Cena has seen.
Mid-way through the match, Cena had the STF locked in on RVD before he got to the ropes, the referee made Cena break the hold which angered him. He would then display hustle, loyalty, and respect and shove the referee. This prompted the referee to shove back before Cena decked him with a clothesline.
4 Humiliating Michael Cole And John Laurinaitis
In 2012, in the span of 2 weeks, John Cena beat up to an uncomfortable extent Michael Cole and John Laurinaitis. Yes, let's say that again, one of the greatest WWE wrestlers of all-time faced in separate matches, Commentator Michael Cole and General Manager John Laurinaitis.

First was Laurinaitis at Over The Limit 2012, where among other things Cena would do, bang the ring bell in his ear, mock him on commentary, and blast him with the fire extinguisher. He would then similarly humiliate Michael Cole a few weeks later where he would strip him down to his underwear and dowse him with BBQ sauce.
3 AA'ing Batista After He Said "I Quit"
The only rule of an I quit match is to hurt your opponent until they can take no more and say "I Quit". John Cena took that rule as a suggestion in his I Quit match against Batista at Over The Limit 2010.
Cena ultimately made Batista say "I Quit" to end the match when he was about to AA him off of a car onto the stage. Batista said that so Cena wouldn't do it, but Cena did it anyway after the match was over. This crippled Batista and made him quit the WWE the next night.
2 Stealing Zack Ryder's Girlfriend
Everyone knows the story of Zack Ryder, he became a star in 2011 under his own volition without any push from the company. That is until the fateful "Embrace the Hate" story-line in 2012.
Cena and Kane were pitted against each other in a brutal feud, which made Kane go after Cena's friend, Zack Ryder. After these attacks, Ryder was put in a wheelchair, and couldn't walk. But at least he still had his girlfriend Eve right? Wrong. Cena ended up kissing Eve right in front of Ryder, leaving the broski broken-hearted.
1 Defeating Rey Mysterio For The WWE Championship On The Same Night He Won It
On the July 25th, 2011 edition of Raw, Rey Mysterio finally climbed the mountain and claimed his first WWE Championship. But his celebration didn't last long.
Cena was given a WWE Championship opportunity later that night, and instead of saying he would wait until another date to let Mysterio recover, he took it that same night. To no one's surprise, Cena came out the victor over the exhausted Mysterio, and Rey would never get his rematch.
