You may know her best as a successful R&B singer and musician, but it turns out that Alicia Keys also has plenty of other credits to her name, including producer, actress, author, and activist. 

She's also acted in several films and television shows, making her first film debut on the 2007 crime movie Smokin' Aces, followed by The Nanny Diaries in 2007 and The Secret Life of Bees in 2008 (via IMDB). Keys has also appeared as a coach on The Voice, among other appearances on several reality music competition shows.

But Keys' talents seem to stretch even beyond music and film — per The New York Times, she's also written two books as a best-selling author! In 2004, the star released a book called Tears for Water: Songbook of Poems and Lyrics, a collection of poems and lyrics from her journals. More recently, in March 2020, she also released a memoir called More Myself: A Journey, which appeared on The New York Times' bestseller list.
