Two Major Planned Championship Matches For SummerSlam 2020 Revealed [Report]
The SummerSlam 2020 pay-per-view is 16 days away, but only four matches have been confirmed up to this point.
So far, we know there will be a singles bout between Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio (making his in-ring debut) and three title matches: Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, The Street Profits vs. Andrade and Angel Garza for the Raw Tag Team Championships and Apollo Crews vs. MVP for the United States Championship.
Of course, more can't-miss and heavily-anticipated championship matches will be announced very soon.
As expected, "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt will challenge Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship, according to to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Shiven Sachdeva of Sportskeeda).
The Observer also noted that "all things point to" a Raw Women's Championship rematch between Sasha Banks and Asuka. The latter has to defeat Bayley in a singles match on Monday Night Raw next week in order to earn a match against Banks.
Barring a major change of plans, Asuka will defeat the SmackDown Women's Champion to receive a rematch.

It was reported last month that WWE was planning a championship match between Wyatt and Strowman at SummerSlam. The latter won the first matchup at Money in the Bank, but Wyatt evened the score in the "Swamp Fight" at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules. The stage has now been set for an epic rubber match on Aug. 23.
The reported initial plan was for Asuka to carry the Raw Women's Title into SummerSlam, but WWE made a late change and had Banks defeat her instead. We'll find out soon enough if Asuka can win back the title that she lost via countout two weeks ago.
SummerSlam 2020 Should Be An Excellent Show
WWE is piecing together an intriguing SummerSlam 2020 card, loaded with can't-miss championship matches, and Dominik's in-ring debut will be a sight to behold. Add it all up, and SummerSlam (no matter the location) promises to be an unforgettable show.
