Are you spending a holiday in Athens? Or are you looking for a volunteer project aimed at asylum seekers and refugees? Whether you're the former or the latter, you’ve come to the right place!
We would love you to volunteer with us!
Khora welcomes people from around the globe to contribute their skills, resources, enthusiasm, and time. Help us create a supportive community and run various services. We aim to share responsibilities equally and don’t tend to stick to specific roles. The skills we are looking for include:
Administration and bookkeeping
IT skills and social media experience
Cooking skills
Experience with social work
Language skills: especially Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Kurdish, French, and Greek
Building experience
An understanding of European asylum law
An understanding of food and nutrition
An ability to facilitate and make things happen
The minimum commitment is 4 weeks, although we prefer that you join us for a longer period. We require all volunteers to attend an induction before starting.
