What The Cast Of Full House Looks Like Today

After Full House, Andrea Barber — who played Kimmy Gibler — had a life full of normality, telling Katie Couric (via HuffPo) that she graduated from Whittier College with a degree in English, and later (in a totally un-Kimmy-Gibler-like move), got her MA in Women's Studies at the University of York in England.

According to a 2011 interview with The Mom-o-logue, Barber married Jeremy Rytky and had two children. Her son Tate was born in 2004 and her daughter Felicity was born three years later. Because she had spent much of her childhood acting, when Full House ended, she revealed she was over Hollywood. "Acting was a really cool childhood hobby, and I got to experience amazing things," she said. "But just like kids play soccer growing up, many don't turn into professional soccer players. I wanted a different career as an adult. I mean, I'd never say 'never.' If there was a Full House reunion, I'd definitely go to it. But, acting isn't my passion anymore." Luckily, Barber changed her mind and brilliantly reprised her role on Fuller House.

In the same interview, Barber reveled she has really enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, living the childhood she never had. She said, "I wanted to re-experience childhood through my kids' eyes. It was almost like I was reliving my childhood — which was kind of abnormal because I was working. But this time, I can experience a normal childhood through them." Barber and her husband have since divorced.
